Natural Weight Loss Treatments

Natural Weight Loss Treatment

Natural weight loss treatment is particularly for those who are struggling with losing weight or have tried numerous diets without success.

It involves more than just trying a new diet. Natural weight loss also means committing yourself to a more natural lifestyle that will maintain your desired weight long term. Also, you will be happier and more in tune mentally and emotionally.

The magic lies in your body, not in some diet pill or new weight loss fad.

We can’t avoid our body and its needs which are vital for its continuing survival. Once we begin to address them, natural weight loss will kick in automatically and faster with far less struggle.

Nutrition A Must For Every Natural Weight Loss Treatment

The body needs its daily nutritional level of a surprisingly large number of intricately balanced nutrients in our foods. Processed food depletes these substances and interferes with these balances that nature has provided.

Diets with weight loss plans that don’t address these nutritional needs often fail because the person is left struggling with unhappiness in body, mind, and spirit. For this reason, most of these diets are basically counterproductive and a waste of time.

In fact, whenever your body feels threatened by a lack of nutrition, it reverts to survival mode and it begins to store fat. This has been experienced by many dieters who have not lost any weight while reducing their food intake.

The Bad Weight Loss Foods

Sugar

Sugar would have to be the number one culprit in the western world for bad nutrition and weight gain. In fact, it’s a nutritional poison.

On the other hand, sugar is the perfect example of processing something that has some nutritional value into something that may cause harm to your body. Different cultures have been raised on sugar cane yet have no tooth decay or any bad health effects.

Trans Fats

Trans fats and many processed oils are harmful and do contribute greatly to weight gain. These can be found in most fast and tinned foods.

Processed Foods

Once a natural food is processed, it no longer contains the exact proportion of nutrients nature provided it with. Everything in nature is connected, including our bodies, whether we like it or not. It’s just the way it is. Therefore we have already been supplied with the perfect foods for our bodies which resonate in unison.

A lot of processed food contains sugar or artificial sweeteners which are just as bad for your health. Again, the body is not getting what it needs, natural food. Add preservatives and whatever else to make it “fresh” and long-lasting and you have a nightmare for your body to digest.

The Best Weight Loss Foods

There are Good Fats!

One of the greatest weight loss myths is that ALL  fats and certain oils are responsible for most weight gain.

You get good fats from fish and free range meat. Also butter, as a natural by-product of milk, is infinitely better for you than margarine which is not natural at all.

The best oils would have to be coconut oil, olive oil and macadamia nut oil. Coconut oil has been unfairly maligned over the years when in fact it is one of the most beneficial foods on our planet.

If you overheat these oils and fats, they will turn into trans fats so be careful to maintain their integrity in their preparation.

Fresh Fruit

While fresh fruit can be a valuable source of vitamins and minerals, those trying to lose weight would be advised to limit their intake to one piece of fruit a day. Fruit contains natural sugars that are not harmful like sugar but they are processed by the body in the same way.

For this reason, eating too much fruit may lead to weight gain. Again, you must respect the intricate nature of your body.

 Vegetables

Fresh vegetables are vital for your body’s nutritional needs. They are nature’s medicine providing the majority of nutrients your body needs. They are also the easiest food to produce and to have at hand.

Herbs and Spices

Herbs and spices are natural alternatives to artificial flavourings and colourings. Their aroma also adds an extra dimension to your food. Once you start using these foods, your taste buds will quickly and gratefully become used to their unique and fresh flavors.

They also are known to help reduce weight and to contain various medicinal properties in both their natural and prepared states.

Water

Often we mistake hunger pains for our body’s need for water.

Normally you would only need to drink about 3 glasses between meals unless your body requires more. Don’t overdo it if you don’t need to.

Exercise

Another weight loss myth is that you need to exercise often with great exertion.

In reality, it is less harmful and more beneficial for your body to exercise more moderately. At least half an hour a day, three times a week doing workouts like brisk walking, riding a bike, hiking and jogging.

Relaxation

You need to take time out for yourself and be alone for at least half an hour a day. Read a book, go for a walk or meditate, whatever relaxes you. You will be amazed at how much you will look forward to this time alone to re-align yourself.

Healthy Environment

You body needs to experience sunshine and fresh air for at least 15 minutes a day. The sun on your skin provides your daily natural vitamin A needs.

Do Everything in Moderation

Like everything else, the secret to weight loss success is to learn to do things in moderation. Your body will safely and quickly adapt to your new eating habits and lifestyle if they are naturally based.

And you will experience healthy and natural weight loss faster than those endless diets.
