What is Lohban?
The scientific name of Lohban is Frankincense and it is also known as Olibanum all over the world. It is an aromatic herb which is used mostly in scents and and in the manufacture of perfumes. Moreover, Lohban is used in worships mainly in Hinduism. But, apart from these Lohban has many health benefits too.
Benefits of Lohban:-

• You may crush Lohban and prepare Powder of it. Transfer the powder in a handkerchief and tie a knot. Now, you can smell it hard so that it’s essence reaches your Lungs.
• Mix the powder of Lohban and Ajwain. Stir them in warm water and then filter the water. You can drink this water twice a day.
• You can also melt the Lohban by heating and then mix it in warm water to apply on the effected parts of body.
Side effects of Lohban:-
• It’s true that Lohban has positive effects on skin but keep in mind that excessive use of Lohban can cause irritation if you have sensitive skin.
• The patients of Asthma should also stay away from Lohban as it can lead to severe problems.
• If you have had any surgery then don’t consume Lohban within 2 months from the date of surgery.
• If you are already suffering from any other desease, in that condition you must consult a doctor before taking Lohban.
• Children below the age of 15 should not be given Lohban on regular doses.
• Pregnant women should also not take Lohban, it can lead to problems during delivery.
